Snowboarder rushed to hospital after falling during training in Beijing

Japanese snowboarder Rina Yoshika fell and was injured during a pre-Olympic training session in Beijing. It is reported by Reuters.

The athlete fell after trying to perform one of the jump elements on the slopestyle course. After the fall, Yoshika lay motionless, and when the medical team tried to turn her over on her back, the Japanese woman screamed in pain.

It took the doctors about 20 minutes to move the athlete onto a stretcher. As a result, Yoshika was hospitalized. The nature of her injuries was not reported.
