The coaches of the Russian national team determined the composition for the first biathlon race at the Beijing Olympics - the mixed relay. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU).
The mixed relay will take place on February 5 and will start at 12 noon Moscow time. Uliana Nigmatullina, Kristina Reztsova, Alexander Loginov and Eduard Latypov will run for Russia.
Maxim Tsvetkov, Alexander Povarnitsyn, Irina Kazakevich and Valeria Vasnetsova competed for Russia in the only mixed relay in the current World Cup. In early January, in the German Oberhof, the Russians took fifth place.
