Doping Valieva
The International Doping Testing Agency (ITA) reported that a banned drug, trimetazidine, was found in Kamila Valieva's sample. The Russian figure skater passed the test on December 25 during the Russian Championship.The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) on February 8 temporarily suspended the figure skater from competitions, including the Olympics. Valieva appealed the decision. The appeal was granted on February 9.
