Hockey player knocks referee down on ice in 2022 Olympics match

A curious incident occurred in the group stage match between the hockey teams of Russia and Switzerland at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, bbabo.net reports.

In the fight for the puck, the Swiss hockey player did not have time to stop in time and used a power hold against the referee, pressing him against the fence, after which the referee fell to the ice.

Note that in the same match, hockey players staged a massive brawl on the ice. And the meeting itself ended with a minimal victory for the Russian team (1:0).

Earlier at the 2022 Olympics, another referee got it. Amanda Kessel accidentally smashed the referee's face in the group stage match between Canada and the United States women's hockey teams.
