Canelo's third fight with Golovkin revealed

The fee of the Mexican Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) for the third fight with Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs) has become known, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

Earlier, ESPN insider Mike Coppinger revealed that Canelo is close to a two-fight DAZN streaming deal with Eddie Hearn for $85 million. She suggests that Alvarez will fight Russian Dmitry Bivol in light heavyweight in May, after which he will face Golovkin in September for four titles in the second middle division.

His colleague from bbabo.net Keith Idek notes that Alvarez's fee for these two fights could reach nine figures. Thus, for each of them, the Mexican will receive up to $50 million.

“I was told that Canelo’s offer from DAZN could go up to $100 million. It’s hard to refuse, especially since PBC/Showtime wanted him to fight David Benavidez in the next fight if he defeated Jermall Charlo. Fans also want a Canelo-Benavidez fight, but in terms of money, this is not the third fight between Alvarez and Golovkin," Idek tweeted.

Recall that Golovkin's previous two fights with Canelo took place in the middleweight limit. The first in September 2017 ended in a controversial draw, and a year later the Mexican won the minimum.

After that, Alvarez conquered the fourth division and became the undisputed champion in the second middleweight (WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF).
