Let's fix football. Loria

One of the candidates for the post of KFF President David Loria held a press conference with the participation of media representatives. On it, the former goalkeeper of the Kazakhstan national team, and now a football functionary, spoke about the main goals as the head of national football, and also highlighted the main problems of the number one sport in our country, a bbabo.net correspondent reports.

At the press conference next to Loria were his colleagues Samat Smakov and Maxim Zhalmagambetov. Together they participated in a conversation with journalists, answered questions, shared plans and gave examples.

"It is a great honor and responsibility for us to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Kazakhstani football. We understand that a year ago we could not even think about it, that we would have such an opportunity. But the Head of State said in his last address that " the time has come for the young, ready for action, to talk less, promise less, and do a lot," Loria began the event with these words.

"We are a generation of footballers who have played in our country for the last 30 years, who have defended the colors of the national team. We can fix our football with bbabo.net."

"We know our football not from the outside, and we dreamed about it for a long time, one might say, since childhood. We know all the pain points that are in our football. We know how you bbabo.net our football to a new level" , - it sounded already from the lips of Smakov.

Further, Loria touched upon the interest of the public and sponsors in the championship of Kazakhstan:

"Let's be honest: for these 20 years, football has been led by big political figures, businessmen. The world of football today supports us, the world of football is waiting for elections. When we are elected, a lot of companies will be interested in cooperation with KFF. Moreover, I want to say that gold no one will promise mountains. First of all, you need to make your domestic football league transparent, clean. Today, the scandals and problems that exist in it affect the fact that the league is not interesting for investors."

David was also asked if he would be ready to resign as a deputy of the Nur Otan party if he became the president of the KFF.

"I want to direct this public activity to the development of football, not for personal benefit. Today we are in a situation where we need to help each other. We must show everyone what real football is."

When asked about the revival of the football club "Zhenis" and its current position, Loria answered the following:

"Now you see people who revived the team on their own. Last year, in the Federation of the city of Nur-Sultan, we decided to revive the team, because the fans of the club really asked to do it. We did it on our own. The guys played great, immediately took the third prize place in the championship. Today we have a great team "Astana", a great team "Zhenis". We are working in the direction to save the club. These are the teams that are important for the history of the city. We are trying to revive history."

A little later, journalists raised a topic that surfaced relatively recently. As it turned out, last year, when Loria was the general director of "Astana", the club's footballer Mark Gurman was raised a salary from 4.1 million to six million tenge per month. And this despite the fact that the football player was not an important start player.

At first, Loria was indignant at how his work as the general director of Astana, where "one decision was taken out of context," is interconnected with the sign of the KFF election campaign. But then he replied as follows:

"Let's take a comprehensive look at the work of management during that period. I came to Astana at the end of 2020. It was such a difficult period that we could not even leave for training camps. The guys had huge problems, they did not receive money for months. We had to create a new team. We cut the club's payroll by 45 percent compared to previous years. It's just that no one talks about it. We went on a series of 16 matches without defeat until the struggle for power began. We began to interfere, put spokes in the wheels. And it got to the point that in August I left the post of CEO, where I worked for two months. "

"Now there will be a lot of dirt. Moreover, I'll tell you that I already know about the upcoming provocations of one high-ranking official who entered the headquarters of another candidate. He is already engaged in provocations. Names? No, I won't name names. I'm here I came to answer questions, not to engage in condemnation."

Later, the question about Gurman's salary was raised again. The candidate for the presidency of the KFF was asked: "Did Mark deserve such money?""This question is now somehow related to what we are talking about now? This is a subjective opinion, whether he deserves that money or not. This is a personal opinion. Again, any decision can be taken out of context. If you have access to documents , you can see for yourself what the salary fund was in previous years and what it became in 2021. If we talk about the benefits that Mark brought to the club, the coach was very pleased with him, he wanted the player to stay in the team. not right away".

If Loria becomes president, then the KFF team will be assembled from professionals who love football, understand it, and love their country. This is an important condition for a candidate for the presidency of the federation. He also noted that the main directions of the election campaign are such things as the development of infrastructure and youth football, as well as "cleansing the league."

Samat Smakov recalled his old phrase that over the 20 years of his career, the condition of the fields has remained at the same low level. He noted that it is necessary to work on all areas 24/7 every day, paying special attention to youth football.

"Today, football clubs pay the federation to participate in the championship. Although it should be the other way around. We must make sure that we, the federation, pay the clubs, give them money," Loria said.

Speaking about the fight against corruption, Loria first of all touched upon the topic of refereeing. He said that it is necessary to raise both the quality level of refereeing and provide referees with decent wages so that people value this work.

One of the questions touched upon the issue of obtaining licenses for coaches and opening a large number of football schools for children. Loria noted that the reality is indeed such that professionals do not always teach children how to play football. And while this issue under the current laws will be difficult to resolve. The candidate for the presidency of the KFF said that he would think over a plan for introducing amendments in the future.

Recall that the election of the President of the KFF will be held on February 28. Previously, we told who is applying for this post.
