Russia (bbabo.net) - Russian figure skaters on Wednesday held their first practice session on Olympic ice since arriving in Beijing.

Men were the first to go on the ice - singles Mark Kondratyuk, Andrey Mozalev and Evgeny Semenenko. They were followed by the main stars of the Russian team - Kamila Valieva, Alexandra Trusova and Anna Shcherbakova.

The leader of the current season, Kamila Valieva, performed three quadruple jumps during the performance of the Bolero free program, one of them in conjunction with a triple sheepskin coat.

Alexandra Trusova also tried to perform five jumps in four turns. She completed two of them successfully - salchow and lutz. Anna Shcherbakova submitted to the quadruple lutz, but the attempt to perform the flip failed.

Already on February 4, the team tournament starts, in which the Russian team is a contender for victory.
