Third gold in Beijing, or how the pursuit race with the participation of a Kazakh woman at the 2022 Olympics ended

The women's biathlon pursuit at the Winter Olympics in Beijing (China) has come to an end, bbabo.net reports.

The winner of the competition was the Norwegian Marte Olsbu-Røiseland. She covered the ten kilometer distance in 34 minutes and 46.9 seconds, with one miss on four firing lines.

The second place was taken by Swede Elvira Oeberg (three misses). The top three was closed by another representative of Norway, Tiril Eckhoff (three misses).

Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko participated in this race from Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstani became 52nd with four penalties and lost more than seven minutes to the winner.

Note that Olsbu-Røiseland won the third gold in Beijing 2022. Previously, she became the champion of the Games in the mixed relay and sprint, also in her piggy bank bronze in the individual race. In the current season of the World Cup, the Norwegian is in the lead in the overall standings.
