At the 2022 Olympics, the men's biathlon pursuit has ended, bbabo.net reports.

Frenchman Quentin Fillon Maillet won the gold medal in the 12.5 km race. He covered the distance in 39 minutes and 07.5 seconds without a single miss.

Silver went to Tarja Be of Norway (one miss), and bronze went to Russian Eduard Latypov, who also made one miss.

Kazakhstan in this discipline was represented by Alexander Mukhin. He finished penultimate, 57th, with eight penalties and lost over eight minutes to the winner.

We add that Fillon Maillet previously won gold in the 20 km individual race in Beijing 2022. The Frenchman also has two silver medals - in the ten-kilometer sprint and in the mixed relay.
