Russia (bbabo.net) - Russian biathlete Eduard Latypov could not hold back his tears at the finish line of the men's biathlon relay after a missed victory.

Latypov confidently led the race before the final shooting, but made four misses, was able to close two targets with additional rounds and went to two penalties, losing first place in the race.

As a result, the Russians finished third, and Latypov could not contain his emotions after his failure. The athlete even burst into tears at the finish line. Relay race partners Karim Khalili, Alexander Loginov and Maxim Tsvetkov supported Latypov.

For the Russian biathlon team, this is the third bronze at the 2022 Games.

The women's relay race will take place on Wednesday.
