Midfielder "Kairat" Jacek Guralski told bbabo.net about his future in the club and expressed his hope for victory in the Super Cup of Kazakhstan, the bbabo.net correspondent reports.
- Are you satisfied with these fees in Turkey?
- I am satisfied with the whole preparatory period. First, we trained for three weeks in Kazakhstan, then we had a three-week training camp in Turkey. I'm already looking forward to the first match, which will also have high stakes. In two weeks we will play with Kostanay "Tobol" in the match for the Super Cup of Kazakhstan. It would be nice to win it.
- Until the end of your contract with "Kairat" one more year. But there were rumors on the web that you were on the list of the Warsaw Legia. Did you have contacts with someone from the capital club?
- I don't want to comment on it. I have a contract with Kairat, which is valid for one more year. And I want to work out this contract to the end. So at the moment I have no chance to leave. I also don't want bbabo.net talks with other clubs.
- So, there will be no transfer yet?
- It's a matter of loyalty. The president of "Kairat" helped me a lot when I injured my knee. And he has priority in negotiations. So I will talk to him and ask him directly what his plans are for me. If he wants to extend the contract, I'm ready to negotiate. If he has another idea for the club, that's not a problem either.
- Return to Poland, in general, a realistic scenario? Or would you like to play in a club from Western Europe after playing in the championships of Bulgaria and Kazakhstan?
Let's see, no need to guess. If there is a good offer from the Polish Extraclass club, I will definitely analyze it. But in "Kairat" I feel very comfortable. We have excellent conditions here, I am very pleased with them. Therefore, while I patiently wait for a step from the Kazakhs.
Guralski moved to Kairat in January 2020 and helped the Almaty team win the Kazakhstan championship. But on the eve of the 2021 season, he was seriously injured, after which he recovered for several months. As a result, he played all three matches in the championship, four in the Cup and four in the Conference League.
His contract with the Almaty team expires at the end of 2022. According to the Polish media, the Warsaw Legia and MLS clubs drew attention to the Kairat leader.
