Skier Alexander Bolshunov will be the standard-bearer of the Russian team at the closing of the Beijing Olympics. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation Elena Vyalbe.
In Beijing, Bolshunov won three gold medals (skiathlon, relay and mass start). In addition, he has a bronze in the team sprint and a silver in the 15 km classic at this Olympics, as well as three silvers and a bronze at the Pyeongchang Games.
