Beaten by Golovkin, the ex-world champion knocked out his opponent in the main fight of the evening

British ex-IBF welterweight world champion Kell Brook (40-3, 28 KOs) scored an early victory over his compatriot - ex-world champion in two weight categories Amir Khan (34-6, 21 KOs), reports bbabo correspondent .net.

The fight in Manchester (Great Britain) was designed for 12 rounds, but ended in the sixth. After Brook pressed Khan to the ropes and began to process him with his blows, the referee stopped the fight, apparently deciding not to risk Amir's health.

Recall that in September 2016 in London, Brook had a fight with Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs). The Kazakhstani defeated the Briton by technical knockout in the fifth round. Brook moved up from welterweight to middle division for this fight and suffered a broken eye socket.
