Russia (bbabo.net), - The second round of the Russian 3x3 Basketball Championship took place in Yekaterinburg. Since the stage was again double, for men's and women's teams, four titles of the winner were played in total. Basketball players of the capital "Inanomo" celebrated success twice. They led the overall standings of the championship. For women, the laurels were shared by the St. Petersburg TsOP and Samara.
Recall that the first double stage of the national championship took place in Izhevsk in January. And that tournament was preceded by the December qualification in Sochi. And now the preliminary selection (February 4-5) and the main competitions were hosted by Yekaterinburg.
In the main city of the Urals, "Inanomo" and another metropolitan team "Runa" met in the first final. That is, the current champion of the country fought with the club leading at that time in the general classification (Runa scored twice in Izhevsk). In regular time, the opponents could not determine the strongest. It's time to recall the rules of 3x3 basketball: teams play up to 21 points scored by one of the parties, or 10 minutes of pure time. If there is a tie, overtime is played.
Overtime in 3v3 basketball is quite rare. This time, Vladislav Meleshkin hit the scales on the side of Inanomo in overtime. In total, he scored 13 points out of 20 for his team! Together with Meleshkin, the "gold" of the first part of the stage was awarded to Yuri Bespalov, Boris Logachev, Konstantin Grekov.
The next day, Bryansk became the rival of Inanomo in the decisive match. Muscovites for registration of a victorious double kept within 9 minutes 25 seconds - 21:14. As part of the capital's team were the same players as the day before. Now Inanomo is leading in the overall standings with 350 points. Next come Runa (330), Bryansk (280) and Samara (240). All, the list of those who earned classification points includes a dozen and a half teams.
In women, the current champions of Russia from the St. Petersburg Olympic Training Center (TsOP) and the winners of the Super Cup and the Cup of the country from BC Samara fought in the first final. This time, the Volzhanka team took over, not allowing the St. Petersburg team to win the third stage in a row. The result of the match is 18:15. At Samara, Yana Mitrofanova, Maria Chernova, Anastasia Pizhenko, Kristina Evseycheva rose to the highest step of the podium.
But in the second part of the competition, the team from the banks of the Neva managed to get revenge. Again, the same teams met in the final - 21:10 in favor of the COP, which was represented by Mayra Sergazinova, Valeria Deryabina, Anastasia Rykova and Maria Yatsemirskaya.

As part of the Yekaterinburg stage, the first open tournament of the project of the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF) "Quiet! Basketball" was held. It became the beginning of a series of open competitions and master classes for people with intellectual, hearing and musculoskeletal disorders. The participants of the debut tournament were students of the Special Olympics from Yekaterinburg school N2, divided into three teams. For the first time, children took to the professional 3x3 basketball court, played matches with the official ball and highly qualified referees. All participants were awarded memorable prizes from the RFB and the sponsor of the federation.
