Kairat Supervisory Board Chairman Kairat Boranbaev commented to RB Sport on the transfer of defender Viktor Vasin from CSKA to the Kazakh club.

Earlier, Vasin's transfer to Kairat was officially announced. The contract was signed until the end of 2022 with the possibility of extension for another year.

"We are satisfied with the transfer of Vasin, and I want to thank the management of CSKA for meeting us halfway. There was a very quick deal. The main thing is that the player himself wanted to transfer, it was very important. We needed an experienced player, because Kairat is a young team, and it is important that Vasin is a Russian-speaking footballer. We hope he will help us," Boranbaev said.
