14-year-old Kazakh tennis player Zangar Nurlanuly won a prestigious tournament in France, the press service of the FTC reports.
The super tournament of the first category of the Tennis Europe series among players under 14 years old, which was held in Paris, ended with the triumph of the young Kazakhstani. In the final, Zangar played against local tennis player Timeo Trufelli.
Despite the loss in the first set with a score of 5:7, the Kazakhstani demonstrated attacking tennis during the game and kept the game in his hands. In the second game segment, Zangar allowed the opponent to take just one game and confidently took the game - 6:1.
At the beginning of the decisive set, the Kazakhstani immediately made a break, but in the next set the Frenchman took Zangar's serve. After the transition, he began to show tennis with virtually no errors. Nurlanuly's confident game demoralized Timeo so much that in the end he could not oppose anything to the rising star of Kazakhstani tennis, losing to him with a score of 1:6.
On the way to his fourth trophy in the Tennis Europe series tournaments, Zangar Nurlanuly defeated the strongest players from Austria, Russia and France.
