The international tournament of the ITF W60 series has ended in the capital of Kazakhstan, the press service of the FTC reports. The first seed of the tournament, Belgian Gret Minnen and Russian Anzhelika Isaeva, met in the final.

In the starting set, less experienced Isaeva needed only one break to complete the game in her favor. Throughout the game, Minnen went to the doctors several times, complaining of dizziness and feeling unwell, and after losing a set, she decided to withdraw. As it turned out later, the Belgian had stomach problems.

Despite the defeat, Minnen today, February 28, will rise in the WTA rankings to 78th line. For Angelica, this is the first adult ITF title. During the tournament, she passed not only Minnen, but also last year's champion of the same tournament in Nur-Sultan, Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze. And Angelika Isaeva made it to the main draw through the qualification.
