The newly appointed president of the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) Adilet Barmenkulov attended the first press conference in a new status. He noted that he was confident in his election campaign, and also spoke about plans for the development of domestic football, the correspondent of bbabo.net reports.

- You all know my program very well. I would like to say that during the first three months the main task will be the general systematization. We have a schedule and a work plan, and all our first steps will also be determined. To do this, it will be necessary for bbabo.net to put all the documents and regulations in order.

As for the first steps, we will immediately begin to strengthen the status of regional federations. Questions of mass football, questions of how football should develop. The main task is to involve the maximum number of people, fans in football. Today we set the task to interest at least five million people in football. Today, this figure is 1.5 million people who are actively interested in football. As soon as we achieve such an amount of involvement, naturally, we will be able to say that it will be interesting both for the state and for business.

We need to create the right foundation. I think that football should become a national project. State support is very important. Within three months we will have to paint all the questions.

- Will there be personnel changes in the KFF in the near future?

- A very good question. If you have read my program, then it is clearly written there that I rely on the management system. All energy and resources will be directed to organizational and managerial competencies. We are now finalizing the competency model. Based on this, it will become clear what the general secretary should be, what the head of the PFLK should be, and so on for each position. Each position will be identified. I specifically take three months for this.

As soon as we unite, we will approve all the criteria for each leader - then we will have an environment of strong managers. Now we need an emphasis on the level of competence.

- What in your election campaign played a key role in the final victory in the voting?

- I traveled almost all regions of the country, communicated with everyone - not only with fans and federations, but also with veterans, youth, school directors - with everyone who is interested in football. I believe my program was convincing enough.

Most importantly, my program did not consist solely of promises. It was written what needs to be done, how to act. Of all the candidates, it was the easiest for me, because I had concrete work done, and it was easier for me to convince people.

What exactly? I had a professional comprehensive study of all the problems of our football. From mass to professional - what we have and what we don't. Almost every block was painted. And there is a detailed solution to these problems in the program. I managed to convince the regions that this program will live. This strategy should not lie on the shelf, it should be implemented one hundred percent.

- What is your vision of the situation regarding private injections of funds into football?

- I want to say that when we talk about attracting public and private investments, the main work of the federation should be visible here. It is clear that private inbbabo.nets are needed, but a private investor will not come to what is unprofitable. Therefore, it is very important for the federation to be a link between the state and business.

First you need to prepare the foundation. Business and football will not live without the state. We need to systematize all the costs for professional, grassroots, and youth football. When we talk about state financing, we should focus on cost-effectiveness. They must say that every tenge must be effective. This will be our main major work. After systematizing all the available costs, we will understand how to manage all this.

- After being elected to the presidency of the KFF, do you vacate your post at Shakhtar?

- Certainly. This is in accordance with all rules and regulations. I think that this issue will be considered today, and a new chairman of the board of directors of Shakhtar will be determined.

- We have a lot of problems with stadiums, with infrastructure. How will you solve them?

- As already mentioned, all our affairs will depend on how we build our relations with the state.

- The previous president of the KFF didn't really indulge journalists with interviews. Can you be expected to be more open towards the media?

- You know, this is a very good question. The media is both a source of stress and at the same time the closest friend of the entire business industry. You will have direct access. We want to put all current projects on the site so that everyone can see - who is the project manager, what is the status of the project. You can see everything at any moment. Is there a result, what is the intermediate result, is there a backlog from the schedule. For instant feedback.We will need to familiarize ourselves with all the processes within a hundred days, after which we will introduce changes. First, we must create a normal environment, and the entire Federation must be interested in this, so that you have access to all information. I guarantee maximum openness.

- The former president of the KFF was not in office that often, he was heavily involved in politics and other affairs. Are you ready for daily work?

- Ready for daily work, and doing it. I am not a politician or a businessman, I can say that I am a manager. I am ready to do my daily work, from 8 am to evening.

- Can you tell us about your strategy?

- There are clearly defined intervals - two years, five, ten and 15 years. The order is very simple. Each program, each project is clearly detailed. I ask everyone to take a look. It clearly states what and how we will do.

Wait, in three months I will tell you about organizational and managerial competencies. I wish you all had that attitude. Until we build managerial competencies, it will be too early to talk about building schools and stadiums. What will give an empty building, without rules? First of all, you will see the structure, managerial competencies.

After the system is built, it will be interesting for you to communicate not with me, but with the heads of regional federations. By and large, all the work will be bbabo.nets there. They will make all the most important decisions on the ground. The Central Federation, that is, we, will already be engaged in building relations with the state and business.
