Well-known American boxing coach Teddy Atlas is confident that undefeated UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev (10-0) will sooner or later become the champion of the promotion.

“I think Chimaev will win the title,” Sport-Express quotes Atlas with reference to his interview with Helen Yee Sports. “He has great talent. He is confident, mentally strong, technically developed. I see guys who come from different parts of the world. Like where Khamzat is from. These guys have a different mindset. They have a warrior mentality, because they come from places that have instilled all this in them since childhood."

Chimaev is ranked 11th in the welterweight ranking. On April 9, he will fight against the second number of the rating, the Brazilian Gilbert Burns (20-4). The fight will take place at UFC 273 in Jacksonville (Florida, USA).

Recall that earlier Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov made a statement about a possible duel with Chimaev.
