Famous football coach Talgat Baisufinov has left the post of head coach of the national team of Kazakhstan. Correspondent bbabo.net - about the second arrival of an experienced specialist in the national team, as well as what a rare "achievement" he was noted.

Baysufinov was the head coach of the Kazakhstan national team for the second time. He re-led the main team of the country at the end of 2020, after the departure of the Czech specialist Michal Bilek, whose assistant he was. In 2021, under the leadership of Talgat Maruanovich, the national team played ten matches, winning one, drawing three and losing six times.

Andrey Karpovich, the helmsman of Kyzyl-Zhar, was appointed as the new head coach of the Kazakhstan national team, who played 55 matches for the national team as a football player.

The last official match of the national team (among those that took place on the official dates of FIFA - ed.) under the leadership of Baisufinov was a friendly sparring with Tajikistan in November last year. Then the Kazakh team at home won a minimal victory thanks to a goal by Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov. Baysufinov became only the third coach in the history of the Kazakhstan national football team who left his post after winning the last official match, albeit in a friendly one.

In 2015, Russian specialist Yuri Krasnozhan succeeded in doing this. In October of that year, the team beat Latvia on the road in the Euro 2016 qualifying match thanks to a goal by Islambek Kuat - 1:0. The contract of the famous coach came to an end, and he did not want to renew it, although the team wanted to keep the mentor.

The first to leave the national team after winning the last match was Bakhtiyar Baiseitov, who coached the team back in 1992. Then there was no national team even in the AFC, not to mention UEFA. The team took part in the Central Asian Cup, and in the last match of the year, rivals from Kyrgyzstan were beaten - 2:0. The team played its next match already in 1994, under the guidance of a new coach.

Interestingly, just in 1992, in one of the games, Baiseitov released the then 23-year-old midfielder Baysufinov onto the field. Who, 24 years later, became the head coach of the national team for the first time.

The main indicator of Baysufinov's second period at the helm of the national team was marked by a deplorable result in the qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup. In eight meetings, the team drew three times and lost five times, finishing in last place with three points in the asset. Goal difference - 5:20. The last game in qualifying was remembered by a crushing defeat from the French - 0:8.

Note that under Baysufinov, the team also played in the qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup. Then, in four matches, two draws were obtained, and in two more meetings, the team lost.

Recall that earlier Talgat Maruanovich worked as a head coach in such clubs as "Irtysh" and "Akzhaiyk", he also headed the youth team of Kazakhstan.

In total, the national team of Kazakhstan, for two periods of Baysufinov's work, played 18 matches. In them, the team won three victories, drew six times and lost nine times.
