Six athletes from Kazakhstan reached the final of the Asian Championship among youth and juniors, bbabo.net correspondent reports.
Three participants made it to the next round by technical knockouts: Bakyt Seydish, Gaukhar Shaybekova and Kamila Bazhbenova won fights against rivals from Uzbekistan, Jordan and India.
Three more, and these are Tomiris Myrzakul, Victoria Baidukova and Ulzhan Sarsenbek, outplayed their competitors on points. Four more Kazakhs completed the start with bronze.
Earlier, several more Kazakhstani athletes made it to the finals, and on March 10-11, participants from the men's tournament bracket will compete for tickets in the battle for gold.
