Kazakh taekwondo athlete Zhansel Deniz successfully started at the Cup of the President of the Asian Federation, the press service of the KFT reports.
On the first day of the competition, Deniz, competing in the weight category up to 73 kilograms, won the gold medal.
In the final, Jancel defeated Rama Aboalrob from Jordan. Bronze medals went to Iranians Zahra Kian and Melik Mirhosseini.
This is Deniz's third award in Iran. Previously, she won silver medals at the Asian Club Championship and the traditional Fajr Open tournament in Tehran.
Thus, Jancel was able to win a personal ticket to the Asian Championship, which will be held in South Korea.
