Ronaldo sets new world record for most goals

Forward "Manchester United" Cristiano Ronaldo broke the world record for the number of goals in his professional career, according to "R-Sport".

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the match of the 29th round of the Premier League against the London “Tottenham” (3:2). Thus, he has 807 goals in his career (692 for clubs, 115 for the national team).

The Portuguese surpassed the Austrian and Czechoslovak striker Josef Bitsan, who scored 805 career goals. Bitsan's achievement is confirmed by many statistical resources, including the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Sports Statistics Foundation (RSSSF). At the same time, the Czech Football Association claims that Bitsan scored 821 goals in official matches.

The 37-year-old football player at the club level defended the colors of the Portuguese "Sporting", the English "Manchester United", the Spanish "Real", the Italian "Juventus". He is a five-time Champions League winner. Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in August.
