Kazakh mixed martial artist Goiti Dazaev (10-3-1) is close to returning to the octagon almost a year after his last fight. The bbabo.net correspondent talks about the upcoming fight between the representative of the Arlan MMA Pro Team and his opponent.
31-year-old Dazaev in April last year held a title fight for the title of champion of the Russian promotion AMC Fight Nights welterweight against Dmitry Bikrev (13-3-0-1), but eventually lost by technical knockout in the third round.
Now the Kazakh fighter of Chechen origin is going to return to the cage at the next AMC Fight Nights tournament, which will be held on March 25 in Astrakhan (Russia). His opponent will be the Russian athlete Oleg Kosinov (11-5).
It is known that the 26-year-old Kosinov goes on a series of four victories in a row. In the last two fights, he defeated his rivals ahead of schedule. In general, he has 11 wins and five losses. More often, the Russian took the upper hand by decision - five times, four more times he celebrated success by knockout, two times by submission. Oleg lost twice by knockout and submission, once by decision. But the last defeat of the Russian happened back in October 2019, at the 94th Fight Nights tournament.
In September 2020, he was supposed to fight Kazakhstani Kuat "Naiman" Khamitov (21-8-1), but in the end Kosinov was out of action and he was replaced by another Russian fighter.
It is already clear that Dazaev will have a tangible advantage in anthropometry - 182 centimeters of growth against 172 for the opponent. Goity is a multiple champion in pankration and MMA, and Oleg can be noted as a master of sports in wushu-sanda. In the Fight Nights promotion, Kosinov started with two losses, but then won three victories in a row.
