In the match of the third round, the Kazakhstani lost to the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov with a score of 3:6, 4:6.

The meeting lasted 1 hour and 11 minutes, during which Bublik made nine aces, while the opponent did not score a single serve right through. But, apparently, this did not help Alexander, who made two double faults against Dimitrov's one.

Thus, the score of personal meetings became a draw, 2-2.
