Former head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov will decide next week where he will continue his career. He told about this in an interview with the Polish portal Interia.

“I am negotiating with several clubs that are interested in me. This group also includes the Hungarians. I was also contacted by two teams from Turkey, and there are suggestions from several other countries. I think about what to do all the time. I will make a decision next week, ”said Cherchesov.

Earlier, the Hungarian portal Index.hu reported that Cherchesov had agreed on the terms of the contract with Ferencváros.

Under the leadership of Cherchesov, the Russian national team reached the quarter finals of the 2018 home world championship. At Euro 2020, the national team did not leave the group, losing to the Belgians (0: 3) and the Danes (1: 4) with one victory over the Finns (1: 0). After the tournament, Cherchesov left his post.

Before joining the Russian national team, Cherchesov worked in Poland for one season. He coached the Warsaw Legia, with which he won the national championship and cup. He also previously coached Spartak, Zhemchuzhina, Terek, Amkar and Dynamo Moscow.
