It's unprofessional and too low. Golovkin criticizes Canelo Alvarez

IBF and IBO world middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs) from Kazakhstan criticized Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) for his comments about their confrontation, The Sun reports.

Continuation 1. Golovkin made a statement about his career Earlier, the Mexican said that "it's personal" and GGG will pay. The Kazakhstani wondered why it took Canelo four years for his voice to erupt.

"Firstly, there is no hostility on my part, I don't take it personally," said GGG. "But, commenting on his approach, he says that it's personal. Where was he after our second fight? Why did he trying to build up this hostility? It's unprofessional, too low for a fighter to describe his approach to a fight like that."

Recall that Golovkin fought Canelo twice, and both fights ended in scandal. The first one took place in September 2017 and came down to a draw, and then exactly a year later, the judges gave the victory to the Mexican. It is expected that in September 2022 the boxers will meet for the third time, but first both must win in their spring fights: Golovkin over the Japanese Ryota Murata, and Alvarez over the Russian Dmitry Bivol.
