UEFA allowed the participants of European competitions to register foreign players from Russia and Ukraine

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) allowed all participants in the quarter-finals of European competitions - the Champions League, the Europa League and the Conference League - to register players from the championships of Russia and Ukraine. This was reported on the official website of the organization.

"The UEFA Executive Committee has decided to allow clubs to add up to two new players who were previously linked by contracts to UAF or RFU clubs and whose contracts have been suspended in accordance with Appendix 7 of the FIFA Regulations on Status and Transfers of Players," the statement said.

Teams are allowed to add a maximum of two players. The deadline is April 1st.
