"Zhetysu" signed two strikers - 22-year-old Nigerian Stanley Nkobi and 27-year-old Russian Aslanbek Sikoev, reports bbabo.net.

In 2020, the Nigerian forward played for Arys from the Turkestan region, scoring six goals in 12 matches. Moreover, Nkobi helped the club break into the Premier League for the first time. Last season Stanley played 22 matches for Turan in all tournaments and scored five goals, three of which were against Kairat.

In this off-season, the Nigerian took part in training camps with Zhetysu and scored goals in each of the test matches played.

Aslanbek is a pupil of Ossetian football. Previously, he played in the teams of the Russian Premier League and FNL for Rubin, Vityaz, Alania, Arsenal, Shinnik, Krymteplitsa, as well as the Belarusian Dnyapro-MCHZ.

Since February last year, Sikoev defended the colors of Shinnik, and left the club in July and has since been out of work. In total, he played 85 matches in his professional career, in which he scored 22 goals and performed one assist.
