American MMA fighter who played in the Bellator and PFL promotions, Jordan Young, has died at the age of 27, according to PFL Twitter.

The cause of death is unknown. In total, Young had 14 fights in the professional ring, won 12 and lost two. The last opponent of the American was the Russian fighter Omari Akhmedov, in a duel on October 27, Young defeated him by TKO.

Young played for Bellator in 2017-2019, after which he moved to the PFL, where he managed to fight two times.

The athlete's coach Derik Santos wrote on Instagram that Young's death came as a complete surprise to him.
