Today, April 1, Naiza 38 mixed martial arts tournament will be held in Almaty. The bbabo.net correspondent prepared an announcement of the upcoming event and told why this event should not be missed.

The tournament will include ten fights, including a title fight in the flyweight category. All confrontations will be held in seven men's divisions. 20 fighters will take part in the event - 13 Kazakhs, three Russians, as well as two Uzbeks and Brazilians.

The 38th tournament of the Kazakh organization will be held behind closed doors (online only) and will start at 19:00 local time. By today, some changes are planned in the fightcard, but as of Thursday it looked like this:

Out of ten fights, we noted separately five fights, about which we told a little more.

Estay Auelbekov (Kazakhstan, 0-1) - Meirbek Tulegenov (Kazakhstan, 2-1)

Fighters of the lightest weight category - Auelbekov and Tulegenov - will meet in the fourth fight of the preliminary card. Initially, Meirbek's opponent was supposed to be the representative of Uzbekistan Lazizkhon Uzbekov (3-0), but at the last moment he needed a replacement. On a short notice, it was Auelbekov who agreed to leave.

Estai has only one professional fight to his credit, and it took place at the end of 2019. Then at the Octagon League tournament, he suffered an early defeat.

His opponent is Tulegenov from Aktau representing the DAR Pro Team. On account of his three fights, in which he won two victories and lost once. All fights involving Meirbeck ended ahead of schedule, and this will be his first appearance in the cage since October 2020.

Bolat Zamanbekov (Kazakhstan, 3-0) - Albert Akhmaev (Russia, 5-3)

In the second fight of the main card, there will be a fight in the flyweight division. Undefeated Kazakhstani Zamanbekov, representing DAR Pro Team, will meet with Russian Akhmaev, who trains in Aktobe "Yerkin Kush".

Bolat spent all his fights in the Naiza league, making his debut at the end of 2020. He has three finishes in the starting rounds by submission. And victory in the upcoming fight will be a big bid from Zamanbekov.

As for Akhmaev, most of his performances also took place in Naiza (four wins with three losses). However, Albert lost the last two fights. Now he will try to break his unsuccessful streak.

Asylzhan Bakytzhanuly (Kazakhstan, 11-3-1) - Zakhar Ryabov (Kazakhstan, 1-1)

Following in the cage will fight heavyweights from Kazakhstan - Bakytzhanuly and Ryabov. Zakhar returns to the cage after an almost four-year hiatus. His base is wushu-sanda, so Ryabov will be set to do good standing work.

Bakytzhanuly is much better known as a fighter. In recent years, he has performed in the Russian ACA promotion, where he even occupied a good position in the light heavyweight rankings. However, now Asylzhan has an unfortunate series of two early defeats, and he will try to close it at this tournament. Note that he has not played in Kazakhstani leagues since 2018.

Magomed Kabardiev (Russia, 7-0) - Valmir Lazaro (Brazil, 19-7)

In the co-main event of the evening, lightweights will meet - the Russian from the Kazakh team Tobet Top Team Kabardiev, who is called the "Kazakh Dagestan", and the Brazilian ex-UFC fighter Lazaro.
