Kazakhstan won the gold of the Asian championship in kayaking and canoeing

Thailand is hosting the Asian Canoeing Championship these days. The Kazakh team won a gold medal, bbabo.net reports.

Our athletes climbed to the first step of the podium in rowing competitions in kayak-twos (1000 meters). In this type of program, the country was represented by Alexander Emelyanov and Kirill Tubaev.

The second place was taken by rowers from Uzbekistan. Iran rounded out the top three.
