- Saparbay beat the Spaniard, whom he lost at the World Championship. Nurlan won this fight with a clear advantage. With knockdown. In the semi-finals, he met with an Uzbek. He won the first round: the Uzbek was afraid of him. After the fight with the Spaniard, I thought that the Uzbek could be caught on the mistakes that he had and knocked him out. We won the first round, but all the judges gave it to the Uzbek.

Saparbai may have lost confidence, while the Uzbek, on the contrary, was inspired. The second or third rounds have already slightly won the Uzbek. This is how the judges break the fight. We won the first round, and gave it to the Uzbek. The opponent saw it, and ours began to rush. The head did not think. But I think... Asia has eight categories. - Almost all of our boxers we know, but few have heard of Dulat Bekbauov. Yes, he is the current champion of Kazakhstan, but he surprised me.

- We will consider them with Shymbergenov, but the category will be up to 69 kilograms. Bekbauov, yes, the champion of Kazakhstan, but he trained in America as a professional. Nurlana Akurpekova boxer. We invited him before the World Championships: he won the first sparring, but lost to Abylaikhan Zhusupov. And so, we considered it.

- You have already identified boxers in some weights, but Kunkabaev and Zhusupov, are they considered as candidates?

- Considered, yes. We will invite them to the training camp. They will spar. And whoever is stronger will represent the national team of Kazakhstan at the Asian Games. If Abylaikhan is stronger, he will go. In the category up to 91 kilograms, Abzal Kuttybekov became the winner, but he could also become a champion. I met with an Uzbek of Kazakh origin. I won the third round, but one judge gave it to that side, and the fight went that way.

We run everyone in tournaments and watch. For example, Talgat Syrymbetov became a champion. They watched him: he lost to the Russian, whom Sabyrkhan then won. We tell the guys: "There are good boxers, there are excellent boxers, and there are cool boxers." Anyone can fight, but you have to think with your head. Talgat fought with the Russian for all three rounds, but he had to box. Sabyrkhan dealt with him calmly. In such tournaments, you need to improve your skills. Improve.

- Vasily Samchuk and Adilet Kurmetov went to the category up to 60 kilograms, but both did not reach the medals. Rate their performance.

I don't even know what word to choose. To say that they did not like... Samchuk - well done. He is a fighter. Just fighting. Kurmetov is already old. 94 years of birth. Looked at him, and you can tell that he seemed to have aged. They worked with Samchuk in the final of the championship of Kazakhstan. Adilet did a great job in the first round, but in the second round he started to fight... That's why he lost. And here it's the same. We told him not to fight, but stood in his place and fought. But there are a lot of young guys in this weight category. Samatali Toltaev did not go, but this weight is not Olympic. And it will not be in the program of the Asian Games either.

- Nurkanat Rayys should also attract attention. He went relatively well to the World Championships, but was left without a medal. And here...

- He boxed badly too. Didn't complete the installation. In the first fight, for example, which he won, he wanted to knock out his opponent. Started fighting with him. When you try to hit someone hard, then your muscles become enslaved. You can not do it. He worked with his front hand, did not feel the distance, fell through ... - What are your plans now?

- From March 14 to March 28 we have fees. Now the guys will go to Serbia: the second or third numbers. - Yes, I wanted to take Yerasyl instead of Oralbay. I even took tickets for it: if he went, he could become a prize-winner. But he hurt his hand. His personal trainer and father themselves came up and said that they would not be able to go, because they would not show anything with an injury. And we changed the tickets for Nurbek. If he had gone further, he could deal with the Uzbek and win with a knockdown. He is a hitter. Feels the distance well. As for up to 92 kilograms, we will consider Kuttybekov and Oralbay.

- According to the final of Damir Abdikadir and Hasanboy Dusmatov. It seemed that it was difficult for Abdikadir: he was long-armed, but he could not adapt to the Uzbek boxer. Didn't find my distance.

- Yes, I could not keep him at a distance, as Bibosynov did. Dusmatov is small in stature. He throws jump punches. Two side ones and nothing else. If it doesn't hit, it fails. A couple of times past, and confidence disappears. We had to defend ourselves against these blows and counterattack. I think weight problems have affected: he drives five or six kilograms. It got harder with every fight. In the final, he was severely exhausted. He probably needs to go to a different weight class.
