A comeback and three knockdowns, or how The hardest fight in boxing history ended

At the weekend in Dubai (UAE) "The hardest fight in the history of boxing" took place - the legendary strongmen-record holders Hafthor "Thor" Bjornsson from Iceland and Briton Eddie "The Beast" Hall met in the ring.

The beginning of the duel according to the rules of professional boxing was left for the "Beast", who managed to drop the "Thor". However, Bjornsson not only rose to his feet, but also seized the initiative. The Icelander knocked down his opponent twice - in the third and sixth rounds.

Although the bout was billed as a show bout, Bjornsson was declared the winner with a score of 57-54 on all three scorecards.

After the fight, Bjornsson announced that he was ready for a rematch. For his part, Hall admitted his defeat, but added that he enjoyed the fight.

Let's remind, earlier "Thor" and "Beast" competed in tournaments of strongmen. The big guys fell out in 2017 when Hall passed Bjornsson. The future star of "Game of Thrones" accused the British and the judge of the show of cheating. Since then, both did not miss the opportunity to hurt each other, which ended in a boxing match.
