At the boxing evenings in Las Vegas (USA), Mexican ex-world champion Miguel Berchelt (38-3, 34 KOs) made his debut fight in the lightweight division (up to 61.2 kilograms) against Jeremiah Nakatila (22-2, 18 KOs) from Namibia.

The main fight of the evening was scheduled for ten rounds, but ended after the sixth. Its outcome came out unexpected, as the favorite of the meeting Berchelt lost.

Throughout the fight, the Mexican looked unimportant, missed a lot of blows, and didn’t go to the seventh round at all.

Recall that Berchelt was the WBC world champion (2017-2021) and the interim WBO world champion (2016) in the super featherweight division.
