Representatives of the English Premier League clubs have refused to pause the tournament due to the spread of the coronavirus, despite numerous postponements of matches. Reported by the Daily Mail.

On Monday, representatives of the clubs met with the league leadership to discuss the possibility of canceling matches on 28-30 December. In the league, ten games were canceled in just over a week.

The publication notes that the majority of club representatives expressed a desire to try to do without the suspension of the championship, but to strengthen safety measures and encourage players to get vaccinated.
