Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku is returning to Inter. This was reported by journalist Ben Jacobs on Twitter.

According to the source, the 29-year-old striker will move to the Milan club on a one-year loan for 10 million euros, excluding bonuses.

At the same time, Chelsea tried to negotiate with Inter on the exchange of players, but the Italian club refused to include Skriniar, Bastogne or Dumfries in the deal.

Lukaku moved from Inter to Chelsea last summer, signing a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season. The Transfermarkt transfer was valued at 113 million euros.

The striker has made 42 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions in 2021/22, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
