Back to reality. Golovkin

Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs) made a statement about the title fight between Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) and shared his conclusions, reports bbabo .net.

The Russian won the fight on points, and the Kazakhstani admitted that his competitors failed to surprise him.

“I don’t follow Alvarez and don’t think about him. He’s not on my radar,” said Golovkin. “I know that many people do not believe me, but I have not watched his fight with Bivol either online or after that. I watched highlights and nothing I saw surprised me. Bivol and Canelo. It was a good day for Bivol and not a good day for Alvarez."

At the same time, the Kazakhstani is sure that this failure will only make the Mexican stronger.

“You learn from defeats. We are at a level where defeats can only make you stronger,” GGG says. “I think it was good for Canelo because it brought him back to reality. He will draw the right conclusions from this fight to become the best boxer."

We add that the third fight between Golovkin and Canelo will be held on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA).
