In recent years, the financial situation in Ordabasy has been extremely unstable, and the club has accumulated huge debts. Bauyrzhan Abdubaitov, who took over as president of the club before the start of this season, spoke about the economic situation of Shymkent residents in an interview with a correspondent.

"I can say that the club's debts amount to about five billion tenge, there has probably never been such a precedent. Today it is impossible to close all these debts. Of course, we are trying to gradually pay off everyone, but it is unrealistic to do it in an instant. I hope everything will be fine and we will close the debts, believe me, a lot of people are interested in this and are doing a great job. We are looking for sponsors, we work with lawyers, functionaries help us," Bauyrzhan Toishybekovich said.

We add that in the summer a transfer ban was imposed on Ordabasy, but it was soon lifted and the club was able to sign up new players for the second part of the season.
