Rybakina will play with the former first racket of the world after the victory in the USA

Kazakhstani tennis player Elena Rybakina reached the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

In the opening match, Rybakina defeated 26-year-old Mayar Sherif from Egypt (6:3, 6:2). The meeting lasted an hour and 12 minutes.

The 23-year-old Kazakh woman filed five times and made two double faults. The performance of her opponent is 3-1.

In the second round, Rybakina will face former world No. 1 and two-time Grand Slam winner Garbine Muguruza of Spain.

The meeting is scheduled for August 17th.
