The match between CSKA and Zenit took place on November 28 in Moscow and ended in a 2-0 victory for the guests. The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) previously punished CSKA by closing the home stand for two Tinkoff matches of the Russian Premier League (one conditionally) following the meeting with Zenit. The head of the FTC Artur Grigoryants noted that the fans used 46 units of pyrotechnics at the match, but "not a single item was taken from the fans at the entrance." After the match, the head of the RPL Ashot Khachaturyants explained the shutdown of video cameras by a planned hacker attack, but the RFU later said that it was due to a technical failure or malicious action by one of the employees.
