Rubin and Zenit held negotiations on the transfer of forward Artyom Dziuba to the Kazan club. This was reported to RBC Sport by a source in Zenit and an interlocutor close to the deal.

A source at Zenit also clarified that the club is negotiating the transfer of forward Ivan Sergeev from Wings of the Soviets. A source close to the talks also confirmed the likelihood of the Samara striker joining Zenit.

Dziuba has been playing for Zenit since 2015. The 33-year-old forward won the Russian Championship three times with the team (2019, 2020, 2021). He is the owner of the Russian Cup (2015/16, 2019/20), the Russian Super Cup (2015, 2016, 2020, 2021). As part of the Russian national team, he played 55 matches and scored 30 goals.

Sergeev has been playing for Wings of the Soviets since 2020. For the Samara team, he played 66 matches and scored 51 times. Last season in the FNL, he scored 40 goals in the championship, setting a new tournament record.
