Russia (bbabo.net), - Russians Evgenia Burtasova and Matvey Eliseev took second place in the Christmas race, which took place in Ruhpolding.

Traditionally, the race consisted of two parts. In the mass start, last year's victors of this race, Eliseev and Burtasova, who then performed under the name of Pavlova, managed to show the third result.

The best time went to the Germans Janina Hettich and Erik Lesser, the second place went to the representatives of Ukraine, Yulia Dzhima and Dmytro Pidruchny.

The second part - the pursuit race, began with embarrassment. The organizers did not figure out the lag of the Russians and Ukrainians from the German team, having released them into the race a little earlier. Later, both teams during the race were held by the judges for the required time.

Hettich and Lesser failed to maintain the advantage. The leaders were the Austrians Lisa Teresa Hauser and Felix Leitner, who were able to finish first.

Eliseev, who finished in this race, came third to the last shooting line, but shot clean, ahead of the Czech Republic's Michal Krcmarz. Despite all the attempts of the Czech, Eliseev still retained the second place. Krchmarzh and Marketa Davidova finished third.
