Zenit CEO Alexander Medvedev has responded to media reports claiming that Dziuba will not renew his contract, which expires in summer 2022, and will leave the club.

"In the agreement of Artem there is an option for automatic renewal. Whether it is being carried out will become clear towards the end of the season. Everything that is being written now has no basis," Medvedev quoted RIA Novosti as saying.

According to the terms of the agreement, automatic renewal will occur if Dziuba spends at least 70% of the playing time on the field. In this case, the contract will be extended for another year.

Earlier it was reported that Dziuba will leave “Zenith” and continue his career in Kazan “Rubin”.
