Russia (bbabo.net), - the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR) commented on the situation with the removal of the youth team from the flight en route from Calgary to Frankfurt.

Earlier it was reported that the players of the youth teams of Russia and the Czech Republic were removed from the flight due to violation of the rules of conduct. Athletes returned home after the cancellation of the World Cup.

As noted in the FHR, "the organization is keeping the situation under control and will find out information about what happened from the Canadian air carrier, as well as from the IIHF and three teams, with which the Russians were supposed to take off on the same flight."

"The main complaint of the air carrier against the representatives of our delegation, because of which the team was removed from the flight, is the medical masks that were worn by all members of the delegation, but, according to the representatives of the Canadian airline, they were worn incorrectly," the FHR said in a statement.
