The 2022 European Championship will take place from 10 to 16 January in Tallinn (Estonia). Recall that the 2021 continental championship, scheduled to be held in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, was canceled due to the pandemic.

Papadakis and Sizeron won the Old World Championship five times in a row between 2015-2019. And in 2020 they won silver awards, losing to the Russians Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov.
