People's Artist of Russia Anastasia Voznesenskaya died due to the consequences of the coronavirus, reports kp.ru, citing its own source in health care.

“At the end of December, 78-year-old actress Anastasia Voznesenskaya felt unwell,” the insider said. On December 20, Voznesenskaya passed a test for a coronavirus infection in a clinic in the city of Domodedovo near Moscow, the result was positive. After several weeks of fighting the disease, Voznesenskaya passed away.

Anastasia Voznesenskaya - People's Artist of Russia, theater and film actress, widow of actor Andrei Myagkov. After the split of the theater, she remained in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov.
