The widow of Yegor Letov, Natalya Chumakova, published on VKontakte a previously unreleased song by a rock musician, which is a compilation of his 1983 New Year's Eve poems.

“In general, here is a piece of the album “Rain in the Barracks”; like many of the “Posevs” (“Posev” - Letov’s group that preceded “Civil Defense”; note), this is a kind of compilation from different poems of about the same time, in this case, New Year’s Eve, 1983, ”wrote Chumakova.

She admitted that for a long time she decided to make public all the recordings of the Posev group she had. According to Chumakova, the main difficulty lies in the fact that some reels with music are not signed, while Letov “did not let her listen to such works during her lifetime.”

Yegor Letov is a Russian poet and musician, widely known as the leader and the only permanent member of the Civil Defense group. He died in 2008 at the age of 43, the cause of death was called heart failure.
