Bloomberg: Europe may soon be left without gas

Europe runs the risk of being left without gas in the next two months due to freezing weather and low reserves of blue fuel in storage facilities. "There are two coldest months ahead," says a Bloombe article.

The authors of the publication recalled that the EU countries have driven themselves into a corner. The fuel crisis is a consequence of the transition to renewable energy sources and a decrease in gas production. The bet on the so-called green energy has not justified itself.

According to experts, the only way out of this situation is additional supplies of blue fuel from Russia via Nord Stream 2. Both lines of the pipeline are filled with technical gas. But Europe itself chops the branch on which it sits, delaying the process of certification of the object.

The launch of SP-2 will undoubtedly affect the price of gas, said Russian President Vladimir Putin. Everyone will feel it for themselves, including households. Even in Ukraine, gas will become cheaper, since Kiev buys a significant amount of blue fuel at prices on the European market.
