Ukrainian singer Maruv (the real Anna Korsun) is threatened with possible sanctions after she spoke out about Russian show business, Tsargrad writes.

Maruv explained that Ukrainian artists go to work in Russia, because the country provides more opportunities than Ukraine. “There are no labels or branches of major streaming services in Ukraine. It doesn't matter what happens with copyright and monetization. The sphere of show business and entertainment content is underdeveloped, ”she noted.

The girl asked not to look for political statements in her words, however, Ukrainian patriots in the media and social networks are already demanding not to let the singer into the country after she goes on tour to Russia.

Maruv's words became known on February 10. In addition to the undeveloped entertainment industry, she reproached the Ukrainian show business for nepotism.
